Googol : Plug In : Semple Hill . Lots of references . Sounds like a Hardware Store in Minneapolis , Minn . about 1920 . My other suggestion applies if your Shotgun has beat-up old wood .....even if you have to glue together pieces . There are some Stock makers that have Pantographs ( I think they're called ) . Anyway , these can duplicate your old Stock , even if there are gouges etc. and the Stock Maker is clever enough to bypass bad areas . A flat out Custom Stock would be big bucks ! I think Fajen and Bishop are kaput , but you might try Boyds . Another option is to try a BIG Gun Show , but I never heard of a Janney so I think that hunt would be futile . Luck !

Jeremy,
Perhaps if you could post a pic of the old gun, others might be able to identify it by sight. Savage Arms and Stevens as well as MANY others made standard arms that were sold under private label during this period. Just a thought.

There is a guy I see at gun shows hear in West Central Oh that has alot of stocks and foar arm for all kinds of guns. You might try some gun shows in your area, or take it to a gun smith. Any good smith should be able to do the job or at least point you in the right direction.

If you check with Numerich Arms website they have a cross reference for manufacturers. You might be able to find out who the major supplier was for that piece. That would be a start.
