Glad you found this place Tom..
We have a nice fishing forum, and now we need some real fisherman to post stories and pictures..we already have a few but we can use a lot more..
I had a little bit to do with John putting this fishing page here in the middle
of all the shooting stuff, but so far I am supprised that more shooting and hunting guys don't do much fishing...me, I try to do it all...
Maybe this year we can all post more fishing stories and pictures, I hope so.
I think most guys like the fishing page..

By the way, I have a video that shows guys catching HUGH catfish out of that Burnsville lake..how do you do up there..My friend Phil who lives in West Virginia, told me that lake was named after him, because he is a really good fisherman..can you verify that? You know how some fisherman can stretch
the truth..Now that don't include me of course, I would NEVER tell a tale..

Get that new boat all rigged up and start to fishing and catching..

Good fishing to ya.

Harry..

I will admit I have no idea who the lake was named after, however it sits about a mile from the town of Burnsville-so I would guess it was named after your friend for sure.

We have a fish camp on Sutton Lake(less than 1/2 hour from Burnsville). As a group we have been fishing Sutton for over 30 years, so we know it pretty well. The Crappie fishing on Sutton is fantastic. I have fished many a day where two of us have filled up a 6 gallon bucket. We do a lot of fish filleting. I do not keep them as much as I use to, I put most of them back now, but I still keep a few good messes every year.

I am moving over to Burnsville because of the great catfishing there. I am setting my new boat up for Crappie and catfish. I need to spend some daylight time on Burnsville this spring so I can learn the lake. I do not like the idea of learning a lake at night. I have a few friends who Crappie fish on Burnsville, so I have a good idea of where to start, and the Crappie fishing is quite good on Burnsville. Plus it never hurts to learn something new. Tom.

Tinboats Dot Net is a pretty cool site that as you might guess is for those of us with Aluminium boats. But info is gladly shared among anyone. Seem like a pretty nice bunch of guys so far. I haven't been hanging out there for very long at all. You guys surely know how to tell when a fisherman is lying don't you? "HIS LIPS ARE MOVING"! Ha Ha Ha. Jut when I thought my Ohio River was starting to go back down, we are due for at least two more days of rain.
