theres a guy on snipershide that listed up a 4-12X40 VXII A/O fine duplex, but i beleave it was matte.

dont see to many gloss ones for sale.

They're all overpriced for the quality but if you buy one of those things, get the latest version. The earlier Vari-x II 4-12 with friction adjustments and not clicks is a crappy scope. Lens quality isn't very good and they aren't fully multi-coated. At one time I had 4 and was glad to be rid of them.

Thanks for the comments on the quality of these. I have several of them as well as about a doxen of the VX II models. Yes there is a a difference in lense coating and friction versus click ajustments.
For the application I am pursuing, te Vari X II gloss works for me.
