CZ 17 Rem

Does anyone know when the CZ 17 Remington will be available? Also, does Savage have any plans for a 17 centerfire? thanks

Check CZ's website...been available for some time. Bought
mine a few years ago.

Al, thanks. I couldn' t find anything on their site about when the rifle will be available to the public, and hoped someone may be a dealer of attended the Shotshow,...etc.

By the way, how do you like your CZ 17 Rem and how does it shoot?

I thought the 527 had been available for awhile, I almost traded for one a couple years back.

CZ stopped production for a while, maybe in late 2006, then announced they were going to bring it back in 2008.

I was unaware of that, CZ obviously seen they made a mistake.

I have a shooting buddy that uses a CZ 527 Varmint in 17 Rem for his coyote gun. He's very happy with it, I've seen the kinda groups it shoots, very impressive!

I've had 2 CZ's for a few years. One is a 17 Remington.
I like them both...good shooters, nice wood, especially
like the set trigger on them. The only thing I didn't like
was the possum-belly clips. Roy Bertalotto bobbed both
of them and they now look much better to me. Roy used
to post here on GGVG, but I don't see much from him
lately.
