I have a friend that is looking to sell a Colt Gold Cup National Match stainless, series 80. It has 50 rounds through it. Any idea what it is worth? He want to build a BR gun and looking for a way to raise the funds.

I wouldn't give more than $1,000 for it...Provided it's in perfect condition. I recenly bought a NIB Special Combat Government for $1,000 and it's considered the next step up from the Gold Cup. If he was a real nice friend, he'd let you have it for $800.
