A S&W #30-1 .32 S&W Long revolver, made in 1975. It has been in a north Georgia pawn shop for nearly a year, with me staring at it every weekend I went by there. Yesterday, I drove up and swapped some cash and a Taurus .38 special for it.
I consider it a training tool for grandchildren, years from now. Until then, I will use it.

That's a neat looking little piece there. Is ammo easy to find? Did your son ever spend the $$ that was burning a hole in his pocket?:D
I saw a Ruger Super Blackhawk blued 7.5" 44 Rem Mag for $250 in a shop. I just did buy a Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt same spec so the pistol 'needs' are filled for now. The SB looks new. Call me and I'll tell you where it be.

A friend of mine, Terry Murbach (used to work for Black Hills and Cor Bon) took one of those and had S&W Kitgun sights fitted up, for a "Trail Masterpiece" as he called it, during his gunwriting days for Petersen's Handguns. I got to shoot it quite a bit, and it was a ball to play around with, it shot well enough to pot squirrels, frogs and such with it, and you didn't even know you had it on your hip. I'd be willing to bet large sums of money that he still has it in his safe.

Not hard to hold out on a purchase when your wife is with you, LOL!
Alan, Chris still has his money, he is still searching for a .357 Sig.
Glenn, ask your friend about that gun and if he would part with it please.

Terry would rather part with all his teeth than that Smith, I think, Bruce, he's not one to turn anything loose. He has another safe full of Savage 99s that he's hording like a packrat, too. He has neat toys...............

I have a mouth full of teeth, thanks. Please ask him anyway...then tell him Kevins Guns on Hwy. 319 in Tallahassee, FL had a Savage #99 .250/3000 take-down last Saturday. Don't remember the price or anything but he could call if interestedin it.
