Wow, I see that you offer even better pricing on the new Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 with Side Focus. I've been looking for a good price on one with the MilDot reticle, and yours is the best that I have seen so far anywhere.:D :D :D

I've seen these new Nikons, and they are truly awesome scopes. Is there anything about these new Bushnells that could give them any edge over the side focus Monarchs??

I used to be a fan of Sightron scopes years ago. But they have now gone up so much in price. And they don't seem to match the Nikon Monarch in quality, from my viewpoint.

Lance,

The only real advantage the Bushnell Elite 4200 has is that they will focus down to 25 yards compared to 50 yards on the Nikon. Optically you really can not tell the difference between the two.

Jon:

Would you by any chance have any specs or graphics that compare the Nikon Monarch MilDot to the MilDot that Bushnell has on the new Elite 4200 Side Focus models?

Any info that you might have on this would be most welcome. Unfortunately, not all MilDot implementations are equal, as I have discovered in the past.

Besides the 4-16x in inch tube scopes in each brand, I would also be interested in the MilDot offered in Bushnell's 30mm tube Elite 4200 6-24x Nikon unfortunately does not offer a MilDot option on their 6-24x Monarch.

Jim,

I do have the subtensions for the Nikon, but unfortunately Bushnell does not publish this information.

Well, I guess I could chance this, as I see that you do offer a 15 day money back guarantee. So if I don't like the reticle on the Bushnell 6-24x, at least I could still send it back to you.

I'll first see if by any chance any local stores have it in stock yet. I doubt it, but I will still look.

I'm just trying to avoid the possibility of a return, if the reticle is not to my liking.

BTW, this is Lance, not Jim, speaking.
