1760 style Flintlock Tennesee longrifle
62 cal Smoothbore ( also a 20 g shotgun)
Musuem Grade Curly Maple
Browned steel fittings ,barrel, lock
Wood Patchbox in Stock
historically correct no buttplate
L&R large siler lock (tuned by Jackie very fast)
nice trigger very smooth
this has hung over my fireplace since it was new, never fired,
it is the historically accurate custom reproduction of a 1760
tennessee Po Boy Longrifle, the staple gun of the frontier
in 62 cal it will drop any animal on the planet.. it shoots a
350 to 400gn round ball at 1650 fps using quality black powder
historically it has been accurate in the hands of experts out to
100 yards for taking deer .
it is an excellent turkey gun when used as a shotgun...
this rifle was $850 from Jackie in 2000 he has since had illness and
is no longer making guns but does service and modify them
I need the space... so its going for $600 to the first taker.
or trade for a 25/06 or other quality varmint rifle
theirs only one.. get it before its gone...
