Guy from work took my Dad and I fishing yesterday. We got our limit. Biggest was 15#. All good eaters. Dad has his own boat, just 4 hours and many gallons of gas trairling North of here.

Nice catch ,Mike....Salmon fishing has been a little slow across the big lake from you. Lake is pretty cold yet but fish are starting show up now.
We are catching some steelhead and lake trout 8 to 12 miles offshore.

You guys are killing me. I bought a boat five years ago to go real fishing. 23' Renken Seamaster, and have never been on a real outing with it. We use it like a pontoon boat so the grandkids can swim. I got the downriggers and everything. A couple of years ago we spent a week on Dale Hollow Lake on the Tenn/KY border. I was at the dock setting up all my gear and I asked a fellow what they were using for stripers, how deep, etc. He says:"There aren't any stripers in Dale Hollow!" Anyway the water had come up 8' during the previous week and all I caught was gar.
