Years back Shooting Times had a write up on the 257 STW. Not sure what issue. I have the ones on 7MM STW and 358 STA.

But man you are talking a serious barrel burner in the 257.

75 gr Horn ---Reloader 22----86 gr---=4100 fps
100 Nosler----Reloader 22----80 gr---=3750 fps
120 Speer----Reloader 22----76 gr---=3500 fps

I have a 26" barrel with a 1-10 twist
