Ruger hammer forged target barrel/stock...?

I have a Ruger 10/22 heavy target barrel [hammer forged spirals on the blued surface] and the laminated Deluxe Target factory stock. Got it from a friend in a deal. He used the action to build a 17Mach 2 rig.
So, I need either an action to build this 'back',,or sell these two items. I really want to build the Ruger back to shooting state so I need an action.
I'm guessing I need to buy a used 10/22 as cheap as I can and salvage the action, right? Have you guys ever found just an action for sale??

I'm pretty sure you can buy just the action from Volquerson.
They're pretty spendy, but alot better than the Ruger action.

The actions are a little hard to come by alone. You're probably better off looking for a complete gun but don't expect any super deals on a used one. Most I've seen at gunshows are priced higher than a new one. Regardless of what model you find, unless it's a magnum (super rare) the action will accept your barrel and fit your stock. That's a good barrel by the way.

Remember that, legally, the receiver is "the gun" since it's the serialized part. If you buy it online it has to be shipped to an FFL.

I've decided to sell the barrel and stocki that I have. Already have a nice suppressed 10/22 with a very accurate Shilen on it.
I forgot I am in 'reduction of collection' mode, not aquiring mode!
