But had to put some fun back into shooting, buying one of the original steel Calico gatling guns this week and found out Cabela's has the newer version for sale........http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0034775227757a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=gatling+gun&Ntk=Product_liberal&sort=all&Go.y=7&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&Go.x=18&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1
Ive seen them before, i just cant justify having to add another 400 bucks or so for a pair of 10/22s just to have a $900 22 rifle that i cant carry around and shoot with.
at least it wont cost too much to feed :D

I AIN'T shipping you back all that PMC Scoremaster you sold me. Nope, noway and UH UH.........:D:D
Now that that is out of the way, it'll be a fun toy to mess around with, and who knows, with a little judicious tinkering and fabbing, you maybe could double your rate of ammo consumption?
Have fun with your retirement.
But made for fun. You may not win any BR-50 matches, but that would be due to your smile ruining your cheek weld. If it makes you feel any better I've seen one set up with four barrels. Looked like he made spacer plates to stack them on top of each other. Looked kind of like a quad anti aircraft setup. Build it and let others cry or smile(I'll smile). Think of it this way, if you buy 2 new 10/22's and this kit you'll still have less than what I spent on my first 10/22 build.

GO FOR IT !!!

Never said I didn't have 78 bricks more of rimfire ammunition. The beat goes on.........walked into 5,000 Fed. Lg. Rifle primers, @ $44 and two bricks were GM 215M. The way it appears to me, my buying habits are betting against purchasing primers the way it used to be..........LR

Just when I you thought you knew a guy, sheeesh!
I just sold 54K primers to a gun shop in Charleston last w/e. No where near the $44, guy has to make a profit. Some of the boxes had $17.95 on'em as original price. Have alway been somewhat of a rat holer.
Stopped by the range on the way home from work this early PM and did some more practicing for BE. Improvement is there, but it is a slow journey.
If you ever decide to mosey to the E. coast with your rig, let me know, save you some shipping on the next 3 cases...............:D:p:rolleyes:
I'm thinking if you stack four of those babies on adjustable frames, get the convergence set at 100 yds, you'd be death on wheels for the ground squirrels and possibly PD's..........The secret is the convergence. Fighter pilots of the prop jobs would have the mechs. set theirs to suit their personal style of fighting/shooting. Richard I. Bong (P-38 Pacific) for instance was such a lousy deflection shot but such a superior pilot, he'd close to less than a 100 yds and end up with FOD damage from the pieces and parts coming off the victim.
Again, have fun.
