.....however really getting low on sources having 22 rimfire for sale. Guess it would be alright, but if you were interested in say at least a half case purchase or more, I just ordered from: ben@retechsales.com and order shipped same day. Doesn't have a full menu of brands, probably mostly bulk. He sold a ton of it overnight to a distributor in N.Y. so think about it....a case where a small retailer sells back to a distributor........what does that tell you? LR

Tells me that he believes ammo prices and availability will be back to normal in time.
I am seeing plenty of powder on shelves and the price is from $20 -$22 for powder like IMR 4895.
I believe some that horded too late will have expensive stock.
I am not saying I think the bricks of 22lr will be $10 again but I sure would not buy a bulk pack of Fed at $25 for 550

I bet it will be $40 within a year..........bought another case this morning LR
Has the bulk in stock for @ $15. Problem is they limit you to two boxes. That's 2 for me and 2 for my wife about once a week. Wolf MT is hard to find as is SK. Glad my kids like to plink and not hit bulls. Hopefully things will even out as I'm running low on primers, I know lots of local reloaders who keep needing 100 to get them through. Funny part of that is to a man they replace what they borrow and a few times I've gotten from others what I couldn't find. If it gets too bad let me know and I'll set my friends on the prowl. Worse part of that is stinking shipping, but it's way better than not shooting.

I realize that I am rather late to the discussion, none the less I figured I would add that our local wallymart regularly has three different brands of 500 plus packs and none are over $15.00 American.
I made it a habit several years back to buy a couple of 22LR bulk packs and at least one box of center fire ammo every time I was there. I shoot multiple times a week during the cooler 7 months of the year down here and have yet to pay inflated prices or come near running out of ammo.
I do worry a bit about the shops that tried to keep stock for their regulars who won't go to wallymart. If they bought stock at crazy high prices trying to be a good source for their regulars, I wonder if their regulars will continue to buy from them if having to pay three times wallymart prices.
