take a wet rag and run over the stock ..thats what it will look like done !

i did that earlier!! it's ganna be one heck of a good looking stock when i put the high gloss polyurethane to it!!! it's ganna be a eye catcher for sure!!!

If you don't want it to yellow up over time use automotive clearcoat
the urethanes WILL yellow over time...ask me how I know ;)

i has a rifle stock that was painted blue. the clear coat that was used on it turn yellow after awhile. the gun turned into a green color!!! i know exactly what you are talking about:D.
