GGVG is at the same speed today as it has been since the move which for me is faster than our last server. Everything ok here.

Oleman is not imagining things. Most of the time it runs very well, just as you described. However, at irregular intervals, it slows to a crawl, for no apparent reason and then after a while, comes back to normal, apparently without human intervention. I am reasonably confident, expecially in light of the fact that others are seeing this, that it is not my PC or ISP. I have cable, and whenever this happens, I go to other sites and other tasks, and they all function normally.

Mike and John, please understand I remain a happy (and grateful) member. I posted this just to make you aware. You two cannot address such issues with the service provider if don't know about them. Thanks for your continuing efforts on our behalf.

About 15 Min after I made the post it was back up to normal speed? Not sure what was going on I'm on cable and my response is usually very quick.

I notice it randomly as well. Unfortunately, the typical response I get back from the server folks is "everything looks fine on our end". Im going to be looking for a new home in the future, but for now, since I've paid a year in advance, I'd like to see this run for awhile to at least get some benefit out of it.

Hard to say if it's the server or the connections leading to the server. When I experience it, I can go to other websites and they load up just fine. Then othertimes, I try it, and when we're slow, others are slow. It's a hard thing to pinpoint for sure, unless you have dedicated resources to track the packets and see where they are being jammed up at.

That is the same response I get from Wildblue Sat Internet. Hmmm, just like kids....I didn't do it. I have been up to a full 60 seconds to get to the main page , even when my end is working.

The pages seem to take longer and longer to load up. If this wasn't just a great site, I'd move on, but for now, I just wait it out........:(
