These two smallies were caught Saturday evening at Trinity Lake, in Northern California.
My son got home after dark, so the pictures aren't to brite.
Caught on Rapala rip bait, after the sun went over the mountains..
fish all shady spots..
6 ft spinning rod / Shamano Spinning reel with 6 lb test line....
Limit after June 1st is 2 two fish..
This is Northern Californias premiere Smallmouth lake.

HEY I grew up in Corning CA. we used to go to Trinity lake every summer on a friends house boat and fish day and night. We pulled in many smallies like yours good job. I knew a guy that used to work the dock on the Weaverville side not sure if he still works there man I forget his name now.
