Week To Go

Work next week then pull my travel trailer down to lake Wateree in SC for a week of fishing with the wife. Come back and get my boat after I get the TT set up. Only about a 45 minute drive. Crappies beware my wife loves to crappie fish! I will try for a striper maybe and definitely some bass and cats. Lots of grilling and relaxing. Does it sound like I'm ready? You betcha.

We are doing somewhat the same next month. Headed to Dale Hollow lake on the Ky/Tenn border for a week and hopefully will catch a bunch of fresh Specks(what we call Crappie). My wife don't care one way or another about catching them as long as they are caught:) . She can clean cook and eat them as well as anyone I know:D . Have a good trip and stay safe. If you fill a stringer post some pics.

Back from the trip. Caught enough fish to eat our fill and bring some home. River cats mostly with a few bream thrown in.Tired right now. Boat is nestled in and camper is close to ready to go again. Bed will be an early thing tonite.
