Fished Northern Californias Trinity Lake for 2 1/2 days, caught lots of smallmouth bass, and had a great time camping on the patio boat..
We were in a weather change situation, and the wind nearly blew us back home, but we fished the backs of the side canyons and were able to get out of the wind somewhat.
The bass liked the 6" worms and the little green curly tail grubs, and the motor oil tube baits..
We caught lots of bass, but didn't get anything very big, right now is after the spawn and the big girls have just dissapeared.
Here is one fo average size, caught him on a brown and green 6" worm

After just having coffee at day break, a 10:00 brunch sounded great.
Beacon, eggs, toast and more hot coffee..can't beat that.
