Fabulous day fishing. I love that kind of fishing, but have only been out half a dozen times total. I bought a boat intending to do some, but we use it like a pontoon boat for the grandkids to swim from. I've had it five years and never went fishing seriously yet. It's a Renken Seamaster, 23'. I think Renken was going after the lower end of the Grady White market with this boat. It has a 305 CI Chevy V8, two barrel, and an 88 gal tank. The fuel in it is three years old. I only been burning 1/4 tank per year.

Nice Boat! Great looking fishing platform and with 88 gallons of fuel plenty of range. You know, boats breakdown more from inactivity more than from excessive use, at least that's the old seaman's tale on the subject! Rockfish season closes in 15 short days here and the wind outside is still howling. Hope I can get out in the little boat at least one day before it closes.
