Sort of the way we shoot gophers . A dead gopher is a dead gopher . Be it a eyeball or a gut shot. End result is the same . Less mouths to feed.
About the only time our gopher guns go to paper is when one misses more than two good shots in a row. Friend had his scope on a weatherby 17 hmr slide back on the barrel groves . He slid it back tightened it down and kept shooting the rest of season.
This year first time out he was only hitting about 20% . Put it on paper cured the problem . Had no clue as to why it needed to be re sighted as never dropped or dinged.
