Decades ago I had a semi 22LR that I had 3 ruptured rims with it. The dealer took it back and gave it to a gunsmith to check it out. A new striker was installed and no more problems.

However, it appears the breach in the rim is NOT near the striker indent, in your case. Hmmmm..... Veddy intorestink!
