Default Wednesday and I'm all legal beagle Doc.

I was in bed at a decent time after my marathon last night but the Sandman would not stop by. I dunno what's the problem. Maybe have James bootleg some dopey pharmaceuticals down this way? Maybe meet him at Piedmont on one of his wood runs?

I'm such a cheap drunk.......it wouldn't take much. This I know.

Reading Louis L'Amour's memoirs............one absolutely fascinating man. If he hasn't read 5,000 books, and I mean some real heavy weights, in his life time. He was averaging 1-200 a year for his first 15-20 years alone. Bare knuckle fought, tramp steamer, mined, logged, wrote, wrote, wrote short stories & poetry, occasionally selling one or two. Walked out of the Mojave desert with a tin can of water till the next watering hole, go on a winter walkabout for a week or so, camping out, w/o hardly any gear, taught cold weather survival in MI in WW II, .........I mean, it is such an eye opener. I have way too many more books to ad to my list re eastern history. Quite an interesting read so far.

Well, Charlie is snoozing away, Zeus is trying to get 5 hours uninterrupted sleep, James? well, who knows. He may be keying in something rat now. Doc is probably dreaming of a 200 mph atlat and Doug is going for 2500 yds whilst his old man is cheering him on.

Gary is maintaining his energy and sanity with this week's schedule. Jim in ID is recovering from the RM spotted fever/tick thing. Rick is drawing to an inside straight, my hometown Bud is going in to have some kidney stones removed this morning bright and early. Don't sound like any fun at all to me.

Me? I'm waiting for the daily showers to cease for 4-5 days so I can burn branches/trimmings. Fuzz is headed nawth to Gawgia and I may have a range work day Sat. Lots happening for everyone.

So here is the big Wed kickoff and I'm headed BACK to bed..........Tom out.
