dan in va i'm thinking there might be some name confusion here. Thanks for the link, which reveals nice binoculars on steroids. That's a bit different form a spotting scope, which has only one objective. The Swaro is a true spotting scope, but with two oculars. My apologies for being picky.

While good oversized binoculars will deliver more light than a binocular spotting scope, the negative is the weight and size of them. i've thought long and hard about getting the big binos, but they are bigger and heavier than i'd like. The binocular spotter is lighter and smaller, but Swaro glass doesn't come cheap and is over budget as well. No free lunch...rats.

Yes they do, they have had it for years:

Kowa Spotting Scopes and Binoculars

Kowa Spotting Scopes and Binoculars
Kowa Spotting Scopes have been our #1 seller this year in Alpha quality spotters. They offer everything from a basic 20-40x50mm spotter that weighs in at only 14 ounces and is only 9.4" long and runs around $300.00 all the way up to, what is considered the finest Spotter on the market, their 88mm Prominar Pure Fluorite 25-60x Wide Angle spotter. The enthusiasm behind Kowa's 60 years of spotting scopes is manifested in these supreme models. The pure Fluorite crystal used is the optimum optical material for reducing chromatic aberration, providing the ultimate viewing experience.

From the Kowa Website:
The Electronics and Optics division of KOWA began the production of spotting scopes in 1952. Originally, they were developed as scopes for examining targets in shooting matches and saw official use in 1964 Olympic Games held in Tokyo. Once discovered by birdwatchers, they gained unexpected popularity which gradually spread throughout the world of nature observations. Kowa Sporting Optics are highly appreciated as it is widely known that their quality and reliability are the result of more than half a century of experience and development.
The PROMINAR line which includes models utilizing pure Fluorite crystal to achieve optical characteristics unattainable with glass, is the gold standard of serious users.
Based on our experience that optics have to travel and endure all types of adverse environmental conditions, KOWA Sporting Optics are designed to be rugged yet lightweight, without comprimising optical performance. The shapes of our products and their protective covers are ergonomically designed to optimize ease of use, and Eco-Glass is utilised in all lenses. KOWA offers a wide variety of products that provide quality optical performance for the outdoor enthusiast.
Whether you are a beginner or an experiences professional, KOWA has the right spotting scope or binocular what will exceed your expectations.

In Binoculars they have their YF30 Series 6x30 & 8x30 binoculars that if I had to do a blind taste test I'd swear were the same as a Leupold Yosemite with a slightly different finish, all the way up to their Genesis XD Prominar Series which will stand strong with the best of the best on the market.
