Just a bit more to add to this yarn.....................while up there the guide's dad was also guiding with us as well and makes knives as a hobby.
He started a bit of a competition up there with whoever scored the biggest set of hooks won one of his knives.
One of the other blokes scored the same length set of hooks as I did and although it didn't worry me who won what I let the other bloke have the knife as I was just happy to get a PB on a pig PLUS I ticked the bucket list of nailing a couple of Cape York grunters.
Anyway Ted(the guide's dad) who also writes a lot of articles for some of the hunting mags here in Australia said he'd make me a knife just for being generous to which I told him he didn't have to as I was happy with what I'd done but he insisted and this is what he made for me.

It's a good fit in my hand and will make a good skinning knife.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
