Default SOLD - Remington 700 .22-250 laminated stock, LNIB - free shipping

This is an older Remington 700 in .22-250 with the 26 heavy barrel and laminated stock. The model number is 27488, and it was manufactured in 1995, when Remington was still at the top of its game. It is similar to the current Model 700 VLS, but I think the build quality is better.
The gun has one range session on it, and less than two boxes of ammo through it. The gun is in perfect condition. I cannot find a mark on it, and the bore and mechanicals are perfect. The jeweled bolt is numbered to the gun. The barrel and receiver have a nice deep-blue satin finish, with no scratches, rust, or loss of bluing. It comes in the original box with matching end label, and with all papers still in the sealed envelope.
Also included is a Simmons ProHunter fully-coated 6-18x40 Adjustable Objective scope in perfect condition. (The scope is made in the Philippines, not in China.) The scope is mounted in a Leupold windage-adjustable base and rings, which are also included.
This gun is not subject to the Remington 700 recall, so its ready to shoot. Great coyote, varmint, or bench rest gun. I am rating it 99% instead of 100% only because it has been fired a few times.
Asking $825 shipped to your FFL. Willing to sell at a lower price without the scope. I have more pictures, and can send them if you provide me with an email address. Any questions, let me know. Thanks for looking.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
