Charlie at this size they can be lazy buggers although these 2 fought pretty well and while some do fight well the bigger models put up a bit of a struggle then come up like a dog on a leash.
Out of a river they do fight well as they have to fight the currents but in dams they don't have to fight that hard and there's always something swimming past to eat.

My best Yellowbelly is around 6kgs and at that size the body is huge and are nicknamed medicine balls because they look like one.

"You blokes have some of the damnable critters down under. Do not think I want to meet Murray Cod when skinny dipping. Or Murray's Codpiece. "

Murray Cod aren't that nasty but the bigger Cod have been known to take ducklings, possums, parrots just about anything they think they can swallow.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
