I saw one of these in a local gun shop. Can any of you guys give me some info on these? Manufacture dates? Value compared to other 1903A3 variants?

If I recall correctly, Santa Fe was a distributor, importer, or something along those lines........

I think those are cast receivers made aftermarket, for all those Springfield parts that USED to be laying around in backrooms and gunshops. That doesn't mean they are bad, just not original military rifle actions. If I can find my deHaas book, I'll check into it, further. It seems to have gotten buried around here someplace.
