Need to know if a 416 Remington action is the same as say 30 06 action?Dimensionaly. I know the 721 300 H&H is the same just has a longer bolt stroke. Is the same true for the 416?

Remington only makes 2 action lengths.

The short action and the long action. Only the bolt faces are differant from 30-06 to magnum chamberings. The 416 Rem would be the standard long action.
