I bought this 700 Titanium action with PTG bolt with M-16 extractor at least 3 years ago. It sat in Memphis for one year before I decided what I wanted to build first on it. Titanium is about half the weight of stainless steel but much harder. I am eventually going to put a featherweight barrel on it in 6 BR and have a super light carry rifle. But to start, I put a heavy varmint barrel on it so as to find out what kind of accuracy potential it had. The barrel came off my Bat SB that had at least 2000 rounds on it. It was a BRX but I rechambered to a Dasher. I believe it does have accuracy potential. First group had vertical and so I increased the charge by two clicks on my Harrell's powder thrower. Second group looked good as shots 3, 4, and 5 made one hole. Then I loaded 5 more to try at 600 yards. First shot went high over plate at 12 o'clock. I dialed it in and the next four shots went 2 inches.
