I stopped in tonight after work and rolled in at an idle blacked out down the seems like half mile long lane. I pulled all the way up close to the compost because nothing was seen as I stopped here and there. I turned on my call and used a female howl for about a 3 or 4 second blast. By the time I got the remote sat down and the light turned on there was a coyote that came out of the trees. Gave it a little bark to stop it and forgot my damn safety....got it off and let it fly.
A little redemption from the miss the other night.

I'll try to pop in again in the morning before daylight if I can drag my ass out of bed in time...if not I'll still make a pass through there. The $1000 Suburban is nice and quiet and the fans running in the barns masks any noise it makes.

Here's the miss form the other night....roughly 275-300yards. I zoomed the scope up to 14x and you can tell as it got grainy. I think I should have held higher and it was pretty windy that night too.
