The nice folks from the puppy rescue joint brought the little guy Julie picked out on Petfinder.com to the house this afternoon. 13 week old lab/golden retriever mix they think. Apparently, they liked what the saw because they bent their own rules a bit and left him with us. Today's visit was supposed to be just a meet-and-greet deal and, if we wanted to keep him, they would bring him back after his puppy shots were completed next week. Instead, they left him with us and are coming back Monday or Tuesday for his last booster and to bring all his vet records. After running 348 laps around the back yard with Trey, he found comfort in my recliner. He also found two places to pee on the living room carpet so there's work to be done but he's already stealing our hearts and befriending Trey.

Julie decided to name him Sig. So the story begins.
