I have looked at them long and hard, and found one for less than half price. Looks like it would do well off of a bench, or prone. It should be here the end of the week.

I have always used the Harris bi-pods for my varmint hunting.

The Sinclair bipods work great at 1,000 yard F-Class.

Thanks guys. George I have used Harris bi pods on all my varmint and a lot of my deer hunting rifles. I have the 27" extra long one I keep on my old faithfull 6.5x55. VSSF I am thinking of shooting a F class or two match just for the heck of it this year, plus some of us get together and shoot out to 1100 yds 2x a year. I just thought it looked like a super stable platform.

I have the 1st gen anyway..they work great but awkward off the bench..prone i would assume is better.

The Phoenix Bi-Pod is the way to go but the owner/manufacturer is a pain to work with. They are or were used by the US F-Class Team when they won everything.
