Local Academy sports has one in 222 sitting on the shelf calling me....

They look really good, but the price concerns me.... about $100 more than they're selling the 700SPS for.

I heard that...

they are supposedly the same rifle that was previously imported by Charles Daily and marketted as the "CD Mini-mauser". Don't have any experience with them though.

Played with one the other day at Gander Mtn. Action was rough. Did I say rough? Real rough! Disappointed, I'll pass.

Catrun'r(Sonny) & I were at Green Top Sporting Goods last month and he cylced the action...WOW rough as a cob very hard to move the bolt! I would definitely try to find a different brand with a smoother action. I was not impressed. Short bolt handle too, not lending itself well for a quick follow-up shot. JMO, sma in Va.
