I seem to be having trouble with 50 gr VMAX bullets jamming. Apparently the ogive is a bit too large for my firearm. Noslers work fine. So do TNT.

I bought the upper from Surplus Arms and Ammo. I went back after the jams and seated them deeper but that did not seem to help. Could be a bad batch of bullets too. Anybody else see this?

Are those loads "hot" enough to cycle the action? Was the only difference in those loads the bullet seated on your favorite powder?
By jamming, do you mean the bullets were getting pushed back into the case? Pictures available?

It is jamming loading the round.

Can't fire the shell. The bullet is all scratched not the brass.

Never thought about the mag.

It was one of my two 10 round hunting mags. I'll have to experiment more or stick to Noslers, which is not a bad decision anyway.
