A guy I know bought a newer Dodge 5500 and had me put his dump bed on it off his older....2001 Dodge 3500. I asked about said truck and ended up bringing it home. 5.9 cummins 6 spd only 2wheel drive...150k miles. No body rust that I could find...since he does concrete work the truck sets all winter long and don't get drove. He just put new rear leafs in it....heavier than stock, ball joints and a high dollar clutch and new batteries and a few other things. I will be in it right at $3500 when done



My other truck....named Mighty ******.....is about dead having 485k on the odometer. So now I got to tear it down and figure out whether to make a flatbed for it or adapt my service bed...60" cab to axle to work on the new truck....84" ca.
Also my 99 F450 with the crane is going up for sale as well since it never gets drove.....a damn 200" wheelbase kind of limits where I can take it.

I'm thinking a solid rotating table mounted on top of a low profile camper with racks for a dozen rifles and plenty of ammo storage space. Prairie doggin' TANK!

I'm thinking along Doug's lines.... a luxurious camper rig on that frame and the "turret" on top. It would give you a better view and a nice place to relax when the sun sets.... with the camper on back you could take a crew out with you.

That's sounds like something my f450 would be good for it has a 12' flat bed and a box in front of it big enough for my cot.

Wayne the Coronet 66 is still here behind the shop. only thing I have done to it is remove the interior to keep any mice from taking residence in it. I found 440 for it from a truck or motorhome it just needs to go to the machine shop.

I hope to get off my ass and sell the El Camino soon so I can have room at the house for the Coronet.
