Which do you do more when hunting coyotes,,,hunt during the day or night with lights?
In the little varmint calling I've done,,I much prefer daytime,,cloudy if possible, so I can 'see the action'.
Now that deer season is coming to an end,,,I want to go kill some fawn killers. Been hearing them a few minutes about sunset howling all over the place.

Prefer the day..

..For the reason you stated..
.. But I've had better luck at night.. Although NC's archaic game laws prevent the use of lights, Va has "seen the light" (eeeww.. Sorry, couldn't resist) and allows it.. Here of late I've been working with the NV gear but it's just getting to real coyote calling time since I've had it.. The helmet mounted monocular w/IR light combined with the laser guided shotgun seem like they may be the ticket for most of my work.. We'll see here very shortly.. d:^) Jake
