My friend and I drove over to Rock Springs WY to a gunshow this morning, 125 mile trip, got there and nobody knew anything about any gunshow. It was on his gunshow calender he printed off the internet and my wife and I heard the advertisement on the local radio station two days ago. No clue what happened there, what a PITA, 4 hours of driving for nothing except that we saw a herd of about 60 elk in the desert on the way back.

I made a trip in '78-'79 from Ft Wayne to Detroit and nothing there. Found out years later that the promoter had been shut down by the IRS. Being a bit too stingy with the reported gate it seems.

Lucky you!!! That is one of the hardest tags to draw in the whole state. I have been out there 5-6 times this summer, there are some dandy big bulls out there. Open country hunting, more like a pronghorn hunt only the animals are bigger. Good luck, dont forget to post pix.
