This late breaking news story. The FBI has announced that they are dropping the 40 S&W as their primary sidearm, and will arm their officers with slingshots. Police departments throughout the nation are following suit and issuing sling shots to their officers. Training programs for officers are being implemented at every department in the country.
A spokes person for the FBI said that the "FBI is looking at catapults for long range sniper needs."

Actually, catapult is the "metric" word for what we call a slingshot. The rest of the world uses catapult. Slingshots, miles, gallons and soccer are how we speak. It's just part of being a 'merican.

Close. They currently do have slingshots but are not permitted to use them.
