I spent a fair time last night putting together the main Christmas presents for my daughters. I know not the nice wood and quality blue of other guns, but I didnt want to break the bank either....
I cleaned the bore and action of each, mounted the scope and bore-sighted each one.

Oh they each got a padded soft case with "Ruger 10-22" embroidered on them just to rub it in that they're only Rugers....lol I couldn't afford better.

They be standing tall. Something to pass on, with a "story", years on down the road. Very, very nice Steven.

New, all-weather, scoped 10/22s all around. Those are really nice gifts that likely will get passed down years from now, although the stocks, colors and the guns themselves may look nothing like these originals. Did you buy three scopes just alike, and what model is it?

A couple of years ago Rural King offered a special on 10/22s like yours only they had a laser built into the front barrel band and came with two 25-round Ruger mags. I think the price was maybe $209 each. At that price, I bought two of them, knowing there'd come a time when I needed a really nice gift for a youngster in the family or for an adult friend. You just can't go wrong with a 10/22 IMHO.

They are Vortex Cross-fire 2-7s. I went to the new headquarters (that my brother helped design) to pick them up. I get a nice discount from them and have been getting scopes from them for about 10 years now.
