At a estate auction this past Sat., there was a unmarked tin can with lid, being curious I used opened it with a screwdriver and found inside a large quanity of primers with a partial piece of commercially printed paper that read Peters. Now I know about the Peters ammo. co., but noting about there componets. Question is did Peters sell primers only?, and if so in a tin can?

I`ve seen Peters ammo but never Peters componants. Remington bought out Peters befor I got started shooting in the late 1950. I know Remington used to sell ammo under the Peters name and under Remington - Peters name. If these are indeed Peters primers they would have to be atleast 50 yrs. old, I would guess. I`m not a collector, I`m just old so maybe someone who know more can give you the straight scoop.
