Coyote warning

The Monroe County, NY Sheriff, Todd K. Baxter, has published the following warning about coyotes.

"We have been made aware of multiple coyote sightings within Monroe County. Typically coyotes are nocturnal, but it is not uncommon to see them during the day. Merely seeing one is NOT reason to call 911. However, there are certain behaviors that are cause for alarm.

Specifically:
Coyotes carrying any product marked "ACME".
Coyotes dropping anvils from hot air balloons.
Coyote posting signs such as "detour" or "free bird seed".
Coyote in possession of a giant magnet.
Coyote in possession of a catapult.
Coyote detonating "TNT".
Coyote on roller skates with rockets attached.

Please call 911 is you witness any of the above behavior."
