Just a little love for my friends in KY. After all, I can trace my roots back to KY, also. I'm sure we're in IN now because my great grandfather's truck broke down near Ladoga, IN. So...........Because of the climate of political correctness now prevailing in America, those of us from Kentucky will no longer be referred to as HILLBILLIES. We ask that you now refer to us as BLUEGRASS-AMERICANS. Thank you. Now if you will excuse me. I got possums to fry.

My menu.

I would suggest using the slow cooker on that possum so that ya' can take the saved time to tend the damstill properly! Ya' need liquid to wash that possum down ya' know. Besides, a slow cooker makes that tail nice and chewy, too!

To be honest, I'd have to drink some of that "liquid" to get up the courage to eat the danged thing. I'm only part Bluegrass-American. I'm a Hoostuckian.
