21° here in Upstate NY this morning under fair skies, the high temperature will be up to about 36°. It will be a cloudy day with a 60% chance for snow after 4PM, and we will have 5 to 8mph wind today. Between tonight and tomorrow we are supposed to get up to 3 - 4" of the white stuff.

I went up to the gun club yesterday morning and walked the perimeter of the club. It has been surveyed, stakes and pins placed and tags every 50ft. We are going to put more pins in every 100ft and posted signs at the same distance. In the afternoon I took a rare nap and then did some work here. Today I don't anything planned but I will see what comes along.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

41° here this morning And they say we could have some showers later. Picked up some things for the gun club fish fry tonight. In years past, it has been a good meal and a good fundraiser for the club. We are also hosting a rather large trapshooting event tonight also, so the place might be buzzing with activity. I was able to get in a little practice yesterday evening and based on how I shot, I have NO business competing tonight but I will anyway.
Good luck out there Charlie. We hope to see a hero pic soon.
Prayers offered. Make it a good Friday.

23 along with a breeze to start things off here. Headed to mid 30's for a high with snow in the forecast for after dinner in to tomorrow late morning. Guess's range from 3-7" of the white stuff for the western side of the state. And they have another alert for Monday in to Tuesday with a mixed precip Nor'easter taking shape. We've had, and still have on the ground, more snow since March 1st than we've had for the entire winter. I guess the old ground hog was correct with his 6 more weeks of winter. Have I mentioned how much I hate these late winter storms as it relates to plowing? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
Corned beef dinner on the plan for tonight and I'm looking forward to that.
That's about it from here, hope you all have a good one as we head in to the weekend.

Good morning everyone...raining a little here at the shop this morning. Woke up at 2:30am and rolled around until about 4am then got up. Pulled in the shop at 5:30. Supposed to hunt a coyote tournament this weekend and will start about dark today and ends Sunday morning at 8:30am. Should have all my stuff ready to go.
Putting handrail on the bridge platform I built. Finally got to where I could get it inside the shop...barely.
Pulled out my Savage 12lrpv I had redone into a 6Dasher with a Brux barrel and decided its getting sold. Being a lefty the right bolt left port is even more awkward to shoot. Got the word out locally but will probably put it on AccurateShooter.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy and 22, high about 31. Snow. It nearly missed us. We have enough to make the ground white. Folks to the north and south of us got snowed on, we missed another big one. While we have gotten plenty of snow and rain this winter, most storms pass just to the north of here. We always seem to be right on the edge of most snow events.
Tax man was good to us. Nothing owed and a little coming back.
No plans for the day, just stay home and be productive.
Hope everyone has a blessed Friday,
Ken

morning all. 33 with 55 for a high temp, 40mph for the high wind, storm moving in so it will blow all weekend... again, just like everyother day.
Saw a couple coyotes yesterday morning on a dead cow, but didn't get a shot, bossmans grandkid has them trained to run when they hear a pickup.
Chores and cow watching again and again today, getting tired of this but won't be long it will be sprinklers again every day.
Gwyn turned in the retirement paper work yesterday, so in 90 days she will be free, after 36 years in the same place!!!
Better get moving, have a happy FRIDAY and be safe what ever you are doing. Prayers for those on the road, those with health issues and others too.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning everyone ,
66 headed to the low 80's
Headed to get oil changed and tires rotated. Then off to the range.
Last few years I have been gravitating to soft gun cases. I'm liking them more and more less bulk, less weight and easier to store. I received one yesterday for the XP I purchased a AR case fits like a dream.
Everyone have a great day stay warm , cool dry and safe.
Good luck Carl .

Good Morning!
It's 35 headed to 42 today in SC PA. Supposed to start snowing around 9 o'clock, giving us a coating to two inches. After that it should change to sleet/freezing rain and then rain. It's gonna be messy, but I'm working till 4:30. Hopefully by the time we get out of here the rain will have cleaned things up a little.

Shot the Mossberg with the new Trulock choke last night. Patterns were better than the stock choke tubes, so I'll probably use it for most of my hunting and stick with Improved Cylinder for Skeet shooting. Stock is getting more comfortable but I need to take more off the comb. Just doing it slowly, a little at a time. Way easier to remove material than to put it back! Next project will be lightening the trigger, which is over 6lbs. The trigger pull is heavier than the gun itself. I didn't think it would be an issue, but the more I use it the more I want to do something about it.

Anyway, the weather here is going to put a hold on outside activities for a couple days. Might as well stay inside and get things done. Stay warm and have a great day everybody!

Good morning, GoGo. At 0731 it's 42 in Louisville and may drop another 2-3 degrees. Super cloudy and the high will only be 45. Stiff 15-20 mph breeze most of the day, which will make it pretty darned cold outside.

I'm having brunch at Cracker Barrel this morning with a friend who has property down around Edmonton where I deer hunt a few days most years. He's not real computer savvy and had me order him some 10 gauge turkey loads a few weeks ago, so I'll be handing those off today. In the past 3-4 years I eat less and less at sit-down restaurants, so this will be a treat. It'll also be interesting to see how the service is. The servers at Cracker Barrels seem to carry a pretty high load of tables and really have to hustle. I'm wondering if the chain has been able to maintain that.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe (Charlie!), and remember to lift up prayers for our friends here who are ailing.

Morning GOGO, it's 41* here and light rain, I think that is the high for the day, maybe some flurries later. I'm a little sore from yesterday, I'm taking it easy today. I did get a surprise yesterday my daughter Amy went with us, and then drove us home. I fixed Kate some breakfast, now enjoying my coffee. I guess that's it for now, you all have a good and safe one today. God Bless,

Morning Everyone!

Its 45º and cloudy here headed for the mid to upper 50's with a lite SSE wind.

Yesterday was a slow day. I tinkered in the loading room some and resized 560 Win 9MM cases. Planning on having 500 to load after culling them. It rained most of the day here and I rather enjoyed seeing it out of the window. Glad not to be out working in it! The Wife put a Bluebird house in the back yard and it looks like a family of Bluebirds are preparing to move in. That will be a first for us.

Not much planned for today. The Housekeeper will be here about mid morning so I'll retreat to the loading room and work on 9MM brass.

Mr Bruce, thats a heck of a truck!

Dean, tell your Wife Congratulations on a well earned retirement!

Good Luck Charlie!

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

Morning all, 43 headed to 47, gloomy and damp, after a short shower last night. Going to be spending the day in the shop, reloading mostly. Planning on finishing 100rds of .308, then loading up 50 rds of 125 gr HP .300 BO, and finally about 40 rounds of 38/55, to finish off 100 rds. Had a productive day yesterday, and about 4pm I headed into the den with a cup of coffee to catch my breath, and when I stepped down the 10 inches, my bad ankle folded, and so did my other one, and I fell like a ox that had been pole axed. Man I hit hard and did not bounce one bit. Barely getting around this morning, both knees banged up an swelled some, busted my right elbow pretty good also, but did not break my coffee cup. Got to get moving, you all have a good one, prayers for those that need them, Charlie stay safe, Buff out.

Morning all. Grey and overcast with hints of some rain or light flurries. Started out at 28F, but it is 35F now headed to low 40's. Some winds but nothing too notable. Big rains slated for Sunday. One of those days that just makes you ache. NO big plans, just the usual PT and lunch. I do have to make out a couple of bills and get them to the USPS. Be safe and keep warm.

Morning folks. It's 44 in Hugo OK, sunny and drying out. They got over 4 inches of rain here and uts a mud hole. Beeb up since 3am hunting. We saw 7-8 hogs in a neighboring field with the thermal scopes but no shooting. Spooked them pretty good. Larry saw 1 piggy come out if the thick stuff and go right back in. Other guy saw a coyote but didn't shoot. I heard several and they were close but too thick to see. Napping, lunch and going back out at 2pm. Probably hunt until midnight. No service down in that hole so probably won't report until morning.

46 with heavy cloud cover and won't change much through the day. Don't much care for the weather pattern, but then nobody asked me. Sometimes I wonder where the day/time goes. Doesn't seem like I accomplished much, but it was soon over. The only real thing that got done was a visit to the chiropractor and that did help quite a bit. Today may be more of the same. The weather doesn't encourage grass cutting or anything else I might care to do outside. The young prince is here for the day so I might get to spend some time with him and his Oma.
