42° here in Upstate NY this morning under overcast skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 47°. We have a 80% chance for showers today with a wind of 8 to 13mph.

I was on the road for a time yesterday as I will be today. Other than that I was at home working and I also was doing some gun club paperwork and getting ready for a work party. Today I hope to have some time to myself to just take it easy, it has been a hectic week.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy, very windy and 11. High of 15. A cold miserable day. We had drizzling rain yesterday as the snow passed just north of us.
Good report at the doctors. We stopped by the jewelry shop with a box of silver and gold my wife found at Galen's. She walked out with a check for 500.00.
I hope to stay indoors today and keep a low profile.
Hope everyone has a great Friday,
Ken

Good Morning!

43 degrees and rain this morning in SC PA. Supposed to reach a high of 60 degrees later on but will be a damp dreary day. A good day to be at work.

I picked my scope mount screws up from the machinist after work. He only turned down 8 of the 25 screws and he wanted 5 dollars for doing it. Unfortunately I had left my wallet in my car and taken my motorcycle to work. Didn't think about the wallet in the morning so all I had on me was a couple dollars in change. He said pay him the rest next time I saw him. Seems like a decent guy.

Today will be spent working and then when I get home I'll test the screws out. They're stainless steel so If I want them to match the gun I'll have to hit them with a black sharpie. Just have to remember to take some shells along to Church on Sunday. My Dad wants to go out to eat Saturday night so I suggested the Bob Evans Restaurant in Hummelstown. I ate there with the former girlfriend a couple months ago and the food was outstanding. Even she couldn't ruin that meal. Should be nice, even though it's a little bit of a drive for them as it's near Hershey Pa. They run down to Maryland to eat at the Mountain Gate Restaurant though so I guess it's no big deal.

I'd like to continue sharpening my shotgunning skills so I hope the weather will cooperate tomorrow and I can get in a round of skeet. The rain is supposed to stop sometime tonight but then the wind is supposed to pick back up. Hope it doesn't get too crazy. Anyway, the stock isn't punching me in the face anymore so I'm looking forward to it. Plus I completely tore the gun down and cleaned and lubed it. Probably should have done that when I first got it, but I just started shooting it. Make it a great day everybody!

Top o’the mornin to ya’ lads. Best be wearing some green or St Paddy will bring ya’ snakes. It’s 50 and raining in Indy. Rumor mongers say the rain will continue while the temperature does another yo-yo act. Another good day to not be outside.

Nothing planned until the fish fry this evening. I can handle all that.

Have a good day.

35 according to the digital readout, hoping to see mid 40's again today for continued melting. Not much to say, looking forward to the weekend with no plans yet. So, with the weekend in mind, lets all be careful out there today and not ruin the weekend.

It’s a dark St. Patrick’s Day in our household this morning. It’s raining and will be much of the day with a high of 49 degree.
Wednesday we were informed that Jan’s sister’s son passed away after a stroke and seizure at the age of 56 years. Last night we were told that Jan’s brother had passed away while suffering a heart attack while walking his dog yesterday morning. So, we have two funerals to attend in the next few days. Jan was very close to her brother and she will be taking this hard. He was an even tempered all around nice guy and younger than Jan. You know what is said about the nice people.

42 here and not raining at the moment, but it will. Headed to near 60 later. We'll see. Did I mention I hate the time change? I hate waking up for work in the dark. Still struggling to get out of bed on time. Life goes on. Worked at the gun shop last night. Didn't do much else. I did get 2 tires mounted and put back on the trailer. Took the other two off and I need to drop them off at the tire shop this morning. I'll get them put on tonight or tomorrow. Got an exciting afternoon planned. Been trying to get my bud's boy to come work for us. He's coming today to meet my team. We'll probably go out for a beer afterwards, then Sue and I are meeting him and his girlfriend for dinner. I think they're getting serious, and he wants to leave Baltimore to be closer to her. She's a cutie, so I can understand that. LOL

Well, I guess I should get busy. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Great morning everyone,

Clear and 48° with a high getting near 76° here in Millen Georgia.

Yesterday was spent hanging out here in the campground. Trail walking, observing critters & grandkids made up much of the day.

Nearby pond was teaming with wild life to include dozens of Yellow Bellied Slider turtles and at least three gators.

I suspect today will repeat much of what was accomplished yesterday with a possibility of getting some trigger time. Seems the grandkids acquired new 410 shotguns from an aged benefactor & they want to try them out.

morning all. 17 with wind chill at 7 above, we had nasty wind and cold all day yesterday, drifts four feet deep along the roads and in the willows
where all the cows and calves are. Hope no calves got covered and froze. We'll find out after daylight.
Really didn't do much but watch animals and chores yesterday, did get in a short nap after lunch.
Breakfast is waiting so better get, have a happy FRIDAY and be safe. Prayers for those with health issues and other problems.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Still have snow in the air, light and fluffy, should blow around real nice after while. Make for a long day for sure.

FB, Please let Jan know that she and her family are in our prayers.

Late check-in here and the workday is in full swing now. 40° and it has been windy with drizzling rain since last night. Be careful down there Scott and make sure the grandkids keep those .410’s handy.
Gun club fish-fry tonight, followed by a friendly trapshooting match. Since it’s St Patrick’s Day, I think I’ll use Green Dot powder.
JR, practice some self-control at the Golden Corral tonight.
Make it a good day

Morning Everyone!

Its 39º and cloudy here headed for 50 with a 10mph NW wind. It started raining yesterday afternoon and continued into the night. About midnight we got some lightning and thunder and then it moved on out.

Yesterday was busy. Took the Wife to a Doctor's appointment early yesterday morning and sat in the truck for several hours. This is in a high traffic area and right at rush hour. Fun fun! The good news was that Her Heart numbers were improved! Then a late breakfast and a trip by the Pharmacy. The DIL called again and wanted us to pick the Granddaughter up after school and take Her to gymnastics. So, another trip through a high traffic area and this time in the rain. More fun.............

Today will be busy too. The Granddaughter will be in a State Gymnastics meet this afternoon so we'll drive down to Pine Bluff and spent the afternoon. Yesterday was our youngest Son's 40th birthday and they are planning a Crawfish Boil at their house tonight. So we'll leave Pine Bluff and drive over to Hot Springs after the gymnastics meet. He has a really nice outdoor area in his back yard, with a stone fire pit and seating area. It will be cold...........

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country. Special prayers for FB's Wife and Her Family in their time of loss.

Y'all have a good one.

Morning all. It was raining and very windy last night. Have had a bit of rain the morning, but it was only about 33F this morning and grey. Tomorrow will only get up to 20F for a high. Good day to hibernate. No doc visits for the next week, hooray. No big plans for today, just the usual. Be safe and keep warm.

44 in the hollow with misting rain and heavy clouds. 58 will be the day's high and that happened at midnight. Temp will hold about where it is now and drift down. Cut the grass yesterday for the first time this year and it looks much better. Had 5-6 pre-cancers frozen yesterday and it was about all I could stand. Three of them were on my head and I came home with one of the worst headaches in recent memory. Three Advil and a marijuana gummy took care of that, but left me a it disoriented for the day. Don't know if the two draft beers I had at lunch helped, but they certainly didn't hurt. The prince is here and wants shark videos. The quest begins.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
