Good late afternoon, GoGo. At 1700 it's 41 in Louisville, having dropped from 55 around 9 this morning. Brrrrr! Hard freeze down to 26 tonight.
I've pretty much loafed all day except for calling my Health Savings Account folks and getting my account unlocked. That seems to happen more and more often these days. I don't forget to write down my password, but I sometimes fail to delete the old note, so when I go to find the file with the password, I come up with 2-3 of them. So, after I've tried the past 3-4 passwords, I get locked out. Then today I got to talk with a chap who was friendly enough and seemed competent, but he was either in India or Indonesia, I'm not sure which.
FB, please pass my condolences along to Jan. Hard for me to imagine losing both a nephew and a brother within days of one another. I have only one sibling, a brother two years younger, and I pray that I go before he does. My younger daughter died just under two years ago and I still get teary-eyed if I let myself dwell on that loss too much.
We'll probably go out for a beer afterwards, then Sue and I are meeting him and his girlfriend for dinner. I think they're getting serious, and he wants to leave Baltimore to be closer to her. She's a cutie, so I can understand that. LOL
Charlie, I was quite pleased to hear about this young man and the cutie he is getting serious about, but dang, man, don't you think it was a little much posting her picture?
Nearby pond was teaming with wild life to include dozens of Yellow Bellied Slider turtles and at least three gators.
Good thing those grandkids are from Florida as they should already know better than to mess with gators. Main thing my mom had to worry about in terms of wildlife was cottonmouth snakes.
Hope y'all had a good day and that you stayed safe. Prayers up for Jan's family and all others here with medical issues.
