57° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature for the day to be about 70°. It is supposed to be cooler for a couple of days but then next week it will be back up in the 80's.

I worked all day on computers yesterday and I hope today will be a little less hectic now that I got caught up. I got some things to do today but it won't be bad.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning, cloudy with some rain possible. High in the low 80's.
I am still working on cleaning out the house, the third 10 yd roll off is half full. I should finish the basement today. All that will remain is the junk furniture and some tools that cannot come out till I clean up the the shop.
I began working on the Bobcat yesterday to try to get it running.
This is work,. More than this old guy wants to do. By 5 pm I can barely walk back to the RV. But it has to be done.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

58* for starters. My job today is to toddler proof the house. We have a visit from the grand-nephew for a couple of days. I have been warned he is active. (no surprise). Tomorrow it is wrestling a post hole digger at the club range. We are expanding the pistol range. Those rib busters can give you a workout.

Great morning all,

57° and mostly cloudy with clearing and 80° predicted for later here near Halfway USA.

Whoo whee, plenty to catch up on around here. Looks like lots of moisture made it's way to the ground here. Saturated is the appropriate term to describe the yard. Looks like brother in law only cut grass once over the past 6 six weeks. I suppose it's time to find someone else to handle that task while we are away. Big winds the other day knocked a lot of branches loose. Lots on the ground and more to knock out of the Maples.

Unpacking the trailer began & it will take more effort to get that done.

DD picked up the mail. Most of a bushel basket & half of it gets tossed. A Glock 22 slide I bought did arrive. When I get caught up I'll fit it to the 80% receiver I've been whittling away at. Try fit shows I need to file just a bit more.

Corey & Craig will be over later to retrieve their Montana gear. That should be good for a laugh too. :D

good morning folks. It's 72º here with clouds. Showers on the way. We could use some rain, but I wish it would hold off so I could mow tonight. It looks like rain/showers all weekend. Have to work tomorrow, so we had no plans to go away, but I was thinking of trying to use the boat, maybe Sunday.

Didn't do much yesterday after work. Had to work late at the shop. After dinner my cousin stopped by to pick up a plow blade for his 4 wheeler. Losing light fast in the evenings now, so that left no time to mow.

Scott, glad you're home. Tyler informed me when he gets back from Qatar he's (I'm) building an AR. I'm sure I'll need some help/advice on what parts to get and where.

Well, I guess I better get busy. It's Friday. Another one bites the dust.

morning all. 48 to start off the day, lower to mid 80s later, still just a very slight chance of moisture. DRY DRY DRY!!!
Saw a low yesterday of 38 degrees while checking sprinklers in the morning.
Baled in the morning, got a couple more small fields done. Boss man was going to get parts for the swather but failed to get to town for some reason only known to him I guess. So after lunch I went in and picked up the parts. Only $5000. worth, maybe that's why he didn't go, still on his bill.
Got half done with the swather, hope to finish the rest this morning before the shop heats up, but will probably end up baling again.
Better get after it, it's FRIDAY so have a good one and great weekend.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good Morning. To all you boardlings from up here on the wind blown praire. 67 degrees and may get to 75 this afternoon. Southerly wind, 96% humidity and light rain they say for most of the day. Drizzling pretty good right now. Been pretty hectic around here with the wheat harvest going. Tried to get done last night. Only got 120 acres left, but it got real tough and we had to stop. The hired man is going to take the big tractor and start chisel plowing the wheat ground, hope it don’t get to wet and get slippery.

The damnyard is about 4 acres and hasn’t been mowed for over a week and it’s getting long. Rain or not it’s getting mowed today. I got rain gear and I an umbrella mounted on the seat to keep the rain from running down my neck, and the dam yard is going to get mowed. Wet or dry.
Have a good one guys and be safe in what ever you do. Be careful on the roads this weekend. Hats off to all of you that work for a living or have worked for a living. Take pride in the fact that you have helped make America Great. You have built it to last.
