62° here in Upstate NY this morning, it is cloudy with a slight chance of a shower this today. Tonight we will probably get rain which may be heavy at times they say. The high temperature for today will be about 70°.

I had to pay my quarterly sales tax yesterday, change my oil and filter, rotate my tires along with doing some computer work yesterday so I was busy all day. Today it will be all about computer work. I would love to go fishing on the weekend but it doesn't look very promising.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Mornin boys...
70 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Element was out in the hot water tank yesterday morning
so I picked 1 up and replaced it when I got home. Yep, if it can
happen, it will happen plumbing. Tried to frain it with a small pump
but nothing would come out. Drain line complete stopped up.
Took the popoff out and had to vacuum it out, 2-3 gal at a time.
Sucked all the sediment that I could out and put the element back in.
Filled it and turned the power back on. Waited til the bottom element
kicked on before I put the cover back on. Well, I turned the power off before
I put the cover back on...yep, forgot to turn the power back on and Sis got up this
morning and took a cold shower...boy she wouldn't happy...lol Melissa and Elijah
had took 1 after it heated up last nite so they used what had got heated up.
Guess whos name it Mud this morning...lol I'm waiting for it to heat up before I take mine...guess I'll be a little late for work but...I'm taking a hot shower...lol
Just thought I'd share how my evening and morning was...is...lol

morning all. 39 and on the way into the low 70s.
Had a nice rain yesterday morning, got almost a half inch here at the house. Most we've had for a long time. Will take another day or so for the hay to dry back out. Heard on the radio that we are almost three and a half inches below normal for the year. That's a lot being we only get around seven inches for the year on average.
Worked on one of the blue hay loaders yesterday, had a cracked weld on one of the hydraulic cylinders, I think I got is fixed.... again.
About all that went on yesterday. Just enjoyed a day without the dust blowing.
Have a great day, it's FRIDAY!
GOD BLESS. Dean

Congrats on 38 years, Scott and DD.

Great morning folks,

Nice warm 73° with a clear sky & nice breeze here near Halfway USA. Look like a line of thunderstorms wants to visit us in a hour or so.

For our 38th anniversary I gave Debra Dearest the wood. In the rain. With Mosquitoes swarming. I say it often, I am indeed a fortunate man.

Quoting Douglas "Congrats on making it 38 years without mom killing you...impressive".

At least I took her out for ice cream as the sun was setting. :D

Well, more firewood to gather at her dad's house this morning probably while it rains on us. Can't turn down Oak when it's offered. The woodshed is filling in nicely.

good morning folks and HAPPY FRIDAY Mike! Another one bites the dust! It's 68º here with clouds. Calling for showers/storms later on. Hope it doesn't rain this afternoon until after miss Lillie and I get to shoot her rifle.:D She has off school today and is staying with Mimi and Pap for the weekend. Hope to get out of here a little early today and smell some gunpowder. Not sure what we're going to shoot today? More soda cans, pop bottles maybe? Need to build her a nice shooting bench. Maybe I'll throw something together in the morning?

Well, in the meantime I guess I should try to get some work done. Have a good one.

Charlie

Scott, she didn't kill you 'cuz she was already in prison most of the time. Congrats to both!

Good morning, GoGo, and TGIF! It's 76 in Louisville, going to 90 for the last time this year, hopefully. Crazy wild weather coming our way. We have very light showers right now with thunderboomers due late this afternoon. Then that honker cold front comes in tonight. Tomorrow's high is only supposed to be 68, with rain off and on, mostly on.

For our 38th anniversary I gave Debra Dearest the wood. In the rain.
You gave your wife "the wood," Scott? And in the rain? I'm guessing she wore your favorite Mary Kay scent and it triggered the rut somewhat early. :D Any chance you also stepped on her head? Sorry, folks, inside joke there from a prairie dog hunt a few years ago. :D:D See what you're missing out on if you don't go doggin' with your friends. Ha!

Donnie, you might mention that water heater sludge to your doctor. I'm wondering if the minerals there and the ones in your kidneys might have something in common.

Yep, Charlie, I'm checkin' off another week. I meet with my money man next Tuesday and the thought of retirement is getting a little less scary. A few more good days on Wall Street like yesterday would sure help. ;)

I'm sailing west this afternoon to visit my saintly mother. If the weather turns out as expected I don't think I'll be doing any fishing or shooting down there with my brother. We'll have to find some other way to get into trouble.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe.

Looks like a decent day in Middle TN. I've already been to a closing this morning. I signed my name as representative of MTSA to buy a house and two acres that is inset on our newly acquired range property. We didn't need the house, but we did need to control the property and possible complaints. Now that is done. I am told that the pad for the range shed was completed yesterday. The shed should be constructed in a few weeks and the concrete poured. The concrete vendor has the form for the bench tops and will shortly begin creating the 30 new tops. WE had hoped to get this done quicker, but like all things Murphy, everything takes longer and costs more than you thought it would. I still have hopes that we can hold at least one match this season. UBR at Chapel Hill TN tomorrow, better get some ammo loaded.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Hot and muggy in SE Texas. Of course. Physical therapy is going well. My therapist is getting tougher on me. Finally! I need to rebuild leg strength and balance to be able to work.

The 2 muscles on the inside of my right thigh are still weak and hurt, but it is getting better. And I finally made it to the range with my new .22! Full report in the Rimfire section.
