46° here in Upstate NY this morning, I guess it is going to be a day with no rain for a change. They say the high temperature should be about 61°. I had another busy day yesterday but the good news is it should be fairly quiet today. The weekend looks to have a chance of rain each day though.

46 this morning under cloudy skies, it was 73 yesterday!?? Crazy weather for sure. Went to town and stalked some bacon & eggs stopped at the grocery and kinda' didn't get motivated much rest of the day. Need to get a cup of joe and get at it today. Be safe and Prayers to those and country, Mike

The shooting benches are done. The tops smoothed out nicely and when we checked with a level, by gosh they turned out right.

Clouding over with 42° and a slight breeze here near Halfway USA. Rain on the way for later.

Grass is going to get cut before the rain. Camper loaded on the truck, packin' & sackin' to follow.

morning all. 38 here mid 60s later. Hope it is a dry day.
Got some baling done yesterday, about half of the field. Boss man raked the rest last night, so sometime today we'll get 'er done! And that will be the end of baling for the year!!!
Think I've only got 11 more sprinklers to drain for the winter.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 71 in Louisville, going to 88. Slight chance of rain today, but nothing major. It was reported the other day that September was our wettest on record, almost 11 inches of rain. We're well above average for the year as well, although I don't know by how much.

No big news otherwise in the Bluegrass. Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

good morning folks. It's about 60º with clouds here in south central PA. We had a bit of rain yesterday afternoon and it got foggy after dark. Miss Sue alerted me of some new holes in the yard, and where I spread baby powder along the base of the back deck you could see where something was coming and going. I moved the trap next to there and kept an eye out back after dark. About 10PM Pepe La Pew showed up. I snuck out on my upstairs deck (aka skunk blind) and turned on the red light and popped him with the HMR...then he sprayed. Whew! Stunk up the whole neighborhood. He's now resting peacefully in the dumpster by the campground down the road. Hope nobody opens the box and the bag inside!

New starter for the lawn tractor arrived yesterday and I got it on. Now I think the battery is giving me troubles??? The battery voltage reads 12.8V but it's weak when starting. When running the voltage is 14.5V. If I put on the jump box it still struggles but eventually goes. Starter's clicking in just fine now. I think both of my batteries are shot. It's not the volts it's the amps right? The 2nd battery I tried is newer but has less cranking amps and has been sitting around awhile. I threw it on charge for a few hours last evening and it started. See what happens when I try to mow tonight.

Well, it's Friday Mike. Another week closer to retirement. Have a good one gang. Prayers sent.

Good morning all. 65 in Indy and looking a bit like rain. Should top out just under 80. Grandson wrecked his car on the way to school yesterday. He's OK but the search for wheels is on.

My Midway order of brass, dies, and magazines for the .224 Valkyrie arrived yesterday. Now if PSA would get on with the upper. Their website says shipping time on uppers is normally 15 business days. It's been a week and my patience already wears thin. I guess I should be encouraged that they have charged my credit card. This reminds me of when I had 10/22itis. Itching for parts.
