57° here in Upstate NY this morning with a high temperature of 62° today being called for. It actually warmed up through the night as they said it would. It is raining now and will all day with a chance of thunderstorms thrown in.

Not a bad day yesterday at all it was warm and nice, I was on the road in the morning. Today hopefully it will be the same although the weather won't be that good.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

43 and still wet !!! 3.8 inches of rain in the last two days, and I thought the forecasters were crazy predicting 3 inches. My sump pump is about wore out but still running. There is water over the road on both sides of my drive, so I'm laying low today. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Friday at last

44 degrees here. The rain has stopped and the creeks are flowing pretty good this morning. Heading to the range tonight with the Fireball and the Blackout for some much needed plinking time. This time of year, it can get interesting with the deer hunters making their annual pilgrimage to the range to sight in their rifles.

Nothing major planned for the weekend. Tending the fire and clearing more out of the basement will probably be the biggest chores on the list until something else comes up.

The coffee cup is empty so I must be going.

good Friday morning folks. It's 65º here with some clouds and wind. Line of storms coming here shortly, but overall we didn't get squat out of this front other than wind and some spotty showers. There were portions of the roads that were dry on the way in, so we didn't get much.

I stopped by the house at noon yesterday and threw up a couple trail cams. I'll post if I get anything good. Saw a lot of deer moving last night on my way home as the front approached, but no bucks. I drove an hour to Hagerstown, MD and back yesterday and didn't see a single deer! The rut hasn't quite kicked in, or they're "doing it" in the dark. Next week things should change. Supposed to be cooler after this front gets thru and the Solunar tables say daytime hunting is at it's best. We only have 1 week left in PA archery. Gotta make something happen.

Well, my big project is APPROVED and off my desk. Now back to the other "rush" jobs that sat and patiently waited for me to get to them.

Prayers sent. Have a good one!

Good morning, GoGo. It's 45 in Louisville, going to only 51. The big weather news is that the rain has finally stopped. We had around 4 inches across two days, never really pouring down, but steady for most of that time. Glad I'm not a farmer trying to get corn or beans harvested. Speaking of beans, last weekend down in Paducah I fished a pond that had a beaver den. All the small saplings around the pond were long gone and we found multiple trails leading from the pond to a soybean field about 30-40 yards away. I guess a beaver is adaptable.

Got my trailcams out and loaded with fresh batteries last night. Now I get to go through the annual game of trying to get the date and options set on them. At least I've learned to leave the tree brackets attached to the cams so it doesn't take two hours to find those brackets every year. :)

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Great morning everyone,

A bit breezy, a lot cloudy and a warm at 42° here near Halfway USA.

The family room projects is getting itself done. Recessed lights are wired in. DD was helping & learning how to run Romex and terminate the wires.

Grass got cut in the afternoon. It was darn cold so I just ran over as much grass & leaves as I could as quickly as I could. Ain't pretty but going into winter, no body will see it until Spring.

I should finish up the last of the wiring today. Make the recessed lights hot & add in the switches.

I figure it's time for a trip to Menards for drywall & mud. DD is looking forward to that part as she learned how to do that at the flood house.

morning all. 27 with a breeze. Should get into the mid to high 40s for several days now.
Well I bought a elk license yesterday so I guess I'll go hunting. Saw four fair bulls yesterday on one of our alfalfa fields. Many more elk on the neighbors, with his damcows. That will make hunting hard. That and all the people that will be trying for a shot. May just stay away from that area.
Got enough 6.5 creedmoor brass worked up to start loading test rounds now.
Just have to find time to work on it, looking forward to finding a good load.
Glad I don't have to put up with other people on our range, just me and my BIL, some times he will have a grand kid with him. :)
Better get around, last day to sleep in for awhile now so running late again.
Have a great FRIDAY and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky and it's rather cool at 44° F.
Looks like a good time to buy stock in Menards and Home Depot....Debra Dearest is on the loose again with another project. Poor old Skruske, he's going to be a Messican for the next few days, don't he know only Messicans can hang drywall.?

Speaking of Skruske, I need him here fast. Yesterday the Phone service went down, the internet is almost gone as well, the water pressure regulator busted on the water line, and we discovered the hot water heater is also leaking and had rotted out the floor again. Going to have to replace subfloor and scab in some 2 X 6s along with purchasing a new water heater for Judy Brown. I don't even need one.
Going to be a mess for sure.
A Bright spot was purchasing 2 new front tires for the Geo Metro war wagon. They cost me $37.50 each out the door at Wal-Mart. Better than some prices I saw on here for log truck tires.

I wonder if Shane has his NV Scope on order yet from Optics Planet?? He will Kill ALL the Coyotes in Indiana then.

Headed out to Otis the Cats house to run the Damcows out of their last green field. Hay Feeding is here and I really dread it. More problems ahead.

Good morning all...at the shop waiting for the coffee to finish. I left here yesterday after waiting 15 minutes for the power to come back on at about 5:30pm I guess the power company was having issues somewhere so I called it a day. Everything is still wet and soggy and hopefully the rain is done for a bit as I have a trailer to go look at today and maybe work on this weekend.

Got a call yesterday morning from a buddy wanting to know if I still had a .308 for sale so I finally got rid of my DPMS AR10 that I had never fired. So I think that cash is going toward some NV. Looking at some 3x14 gen2 models.

Have a great day!

I tried to post this at about 6:30am but apparently my computer has a defective operator.

P.S Jr I been eyeballing the ATN Thor thermal scope too and it's real hard not to pull the trigger on one of those, only thing is in my budget?.... I would only get the 1.5x5 power....unless I sell some more junk.....I do have a 71 Lincoln Pipeliner welder that don't get used and ought to fetch a good amount of money.

Mornin boys...
Kinda late but...
52 here high on RUGER Mt this morning...
Kinda misting but supposed to turn colder.
Got a game tonight with the team that has the same
record as we do. 7-2. This is for the district I think.
Going to be cold, damp, and windy...should be fun. We are a 10
point UNDERDOG but if they play good the first half, maybe we can pull it out.
Hope you all had a gooden today and GOD Bless...

We thrower a lot of topwater and some swimbaits
and then tried to walleye fish with some flys. He caught both
of'em on a small fly. Didn't see any caught, they said they were just
getting up to where we was fishing. Guess we'll have to try again...lol
