28° here in Upstate NY this morning, the weatherman says we have a 40% chance of some snow showers today. The high temperature is to get up to about 35°.

Yesterday was just a gray day without a heck of a lot going on. I was busy here at home working so it didn't matter much. Today it looks as if it will be the same.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning everyone,

30.7° with a chance at a clearer sky later and a high near 36° here near Halfway USA.

Well...some engineering design team someplace is likly out of a job. Afterall, going against current convention, these guys designed & produces a dishwasher that was easily serviceable. I was able to take things apart with ease AND just as important reassemble them without breaking anything. :D I did find the problem. Somehow a triangle shaped 3/4" piece broken of glass made it past TWO filters and wedged itself into the drain pump. What is stunning is that I was able to remove the pump assembly with a simple twist, take out the glass shard and replace the pump with a simple twist. The check valve had become clogged a bit and I did clear that too. Debra Dearest's dishwasher it back to running 100%.

I also repaired a bi-fold closet door that decided to become unhinged. The attaching screws stripped out after 40 some years. I moved the hinges about inch and that is good to go.

Today's tasks include unloading the camper from the truck, power washing the 4 wheeler - blood & salt from deer season need to be washed away. I suppose I'll start running boards through the planer so we can make trim for the downstairs remodel.

Good Morning

33 this morning in NC Ohio with some fog. Not much happening around my fort. Yesterday while stoking the fires I saw a possum climb an apple tree 6-8 feet high and feed on the dried apples. I never knew they could climb that high. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Good foggy morning from Indy. We’ve got 37 heading for 47 with rain in the plan. I skipped the trip downtown because of fog and downtown. Maybe halfway downtown to meet the softball boys later. Good day to you sirs and ma’ams.

Good morning folks and guess what?

It's 36º here with clouds, maybe a sprinkle or flurry later. Mom is in the treestand again this morning. I saw a doe and fawn next to the drive as I passed her...I wonder if she even saw them? LOL Hopefully a buck will come visit today? Looks like rain again tomorrow, so she probably won't get any stand time in then. One week left.

Well I guess I should get busy. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Good morning, GoGo. It's a warm 48 in Louisville, going to 58. Rain coming in late tonight and going through much of tomorrow, with up to an inch expected.

I'm working from home today and also will be smoking a pork butt for a friend. I have a new electric "square smoker" like Charlie's or George's, but I've only used it once, so for this smoke I'm going back to my electric "bullet smoker," old faithful. Gotta show her some love and let her know she's not being retired by the new model with thermostat.

Scott, I totally understand being dumbfounded whenever I run across any consumer device that is easily repairable. We've lived for decades now in a throwaway society, and I'm always shocked to run across any engineering where you can tell something was designed to be easily fixed.

Y'all have a good day and be safe out there.

morning all. 21 to start 40s later with 50% chance of snow today. Then again Sunday. My bet is that the wind will howl later.
Didn't make the trip to town yesterday either, ended up working calves. Boss man sold part of the heifers here on the farm. So we sorted, and sorted and sorted some more. Truck should come today to haul that bunch off. Then trucks Sunday and Monday for the rest and the steers to go over the hill to the sale barn.
Going to town today, hauling off our old living room furniture. And returning a bunch of baler parts that are no longer needed (traded off that baler). And then getting parts for the old Dodge feed pickup.
Going to be a busy day for sure. Starting out late, slept in again, Gwyns off today.
Have a good one it's FRIDAY.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning everyone....got to the shop about 6 this morning and loaded tanks in the truck to go get exchanged, took forktruck tanks last night to get filled. Worked on the stonebox all day yesterday as we still have not got the new material for the last 2 furnace details to build yet.

here is a pic of the stone box with the new bottom and ends in with the 1" thk. wear bars tacked in. You can see from the pipe on the end that is 9" dia. and about 1" thk. and bent all to hell these things take some punishment.

Here is a pic of the buck my buddy shot the other day just behind his house.

Pretty damn good Buck!

Hope everyone has a good day and stays safe!

Shane G, tell your buddy a guy in FL said that was a VERY nice buck.

Matter of fact would be a VERY nice buck in the other states I hunted deer- OH, MO and TN - FL may have some but I couldn't verify.

Best.
